United Methodist Publishing House Receives Lilly Endowment Grant From Endowment’s Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative

January 3, 2024 - The United Methodist Publishing House (UMPH) has received a $1.2 M grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to expand the reach and resources of the Everyday Faith Project, which will be available through UMPH’s Cokesbury retail channel and Amplify Media streaming video platform.

Currently, work is suspended on development of a revised official compilation of music and worship resources. Discipleship Ministries and The United Methodist Publishing House welcome suggestions for fresh and useful worship resources that may be considered for future publication. Publishing House Reduces Spending to Address Ongoing Pandemic

Thousands of products UMPH provides to congregations are used for in-person gatherings for worship, Sunday school, and small group studies. Many of these congregational activities have been curtailed because of the coronavirus.

UMPH Plans Remote Work Arrangement

Nashville, August 13, 2020 – The headquarters building of The United Methodist Publishing House (UMPH) in Nashville, TN remains closed due to the coronavirus emergency. The John Dickins House offices have been closed and UMPH staff have worked remotely since mid-March, and the earliest the building could reopen is the end of September, contingent upon COVID-19 developments.
