Currently, work is suspended on development of a revised official compilation of music and worship resources. Discipleship Ministries and The United Methodist Publishing House welcome suggestions for fresh and useful worship resources that may be considered for future publication. However, we are not currently able to evaluate unsolicited submissions of hymns, tunes, or liturgies.

A new resource will enliven and enrich worship in bilingual (Spanish/English) United Methodist faith communities. Just published, Fiesta Jubilosa (Joyful Fiesta) includes 87 songs and 59 prayers and litanies and is available in pew and accompaniment editions.

Reverend Randolph (Randy) Cross, long-time writer for Adult Bible Studies and Daily Bible Study, died March 10, 2022 following a brief illness. Randy quickly endeared himself to readers with his relatable stories of home and family life growing up in a large Air Force family and later with his wife Cheri and their sons, Aaron and Adam. He brought the truths of Scripture to life for countless readers and helped them see themselves in God’s unfolding plan.
